In the Haagse Hout district, at Podium NOORD in Mariahoeve, Muziek aan Tafel takes place every second Friday of the month. It is an accessible initiative where residents can join in for music from another continent, a simple meal, and each other's company. In this way, the theater becomes an accessible place where people from the neighborhood meet and discover something new together.
Bezuidenhout the Film brings a momentous event in The Hague's history back into the spotlight. The film tells the story of the mistaken bombing on March 3, 1945, and shows what this day meant for the neighborhood and its residents. More than 500 people lost their lives in the attack. This event is commemorated annually at the memorial monument in Bezuidenhout, part of the Haagse Hout district. The film aligns with that commemoration and makes the story accessible to a wider audience.
