Weimars Wijkpaleis is an accessible, creative meeting place in the Regentesse and Valkenbos Quarters. It is a place of, for, and by local residents, where meeting, creativity, entrepreneurship, and collaboration take center stage. You can drop in for a cup of coffee, join workshops, play sports, get creative, or simply meet neighbors.
The Flora Filmtheater is an intimate cinema located on the 6th floor of the former KPN telephone exchange. The cinema has two screens and shows a daily mix of arthouse and quality films. Additionally, there is Café Restaurant Flora, situated in the old KPN canteen, which complements the cinema with food and drinks.
The Valkenbos Culture Square is a community-driven cultural initiative on and around Valkenbos Square. It is organized by the Valkenbos Culture Square working group, which was founded by local residents in 2023. Every Sunday, there is a Meet & Greet with accessible activities such as music, workshops, games, and readings.
