From the MuseumLab in Escamp to an inclusive playground in Ypenburg and a meeting place like the Weimar Wijkpaleis in Segbroek: wonderful initiatives are emerging throughout The Hague that the city is proud of. With the Nieuw70 campaign, BeHague showcases the initiatives that have made the city proud over the past two years.
Over the past few months, residents have been able to submit initiatives they are proud of. We received some wonderful submissions that have been highlighted via BeHague.
On this website, the social media channels, with a traveling outdoor exhibition, and now also with an interactive map.
During the summer months, Nieuw70 concludes with a traveling exhibition, so that everyone in the city can see what cool things are happening. Maybe even in your neighborhood.

In each district, we collaborated with an ambassador who is proud of a development in his or her district. Together with these ambassadors, all submissions were assessed on originality and impact on the neighborhood and the city.
Based on that, a selection has been made. You can also find these on the city district pages. Each and every one is a wonderful initiative that adds color to the city!
