                            &lt;h1&gt;One Young World Promotion terms and conditions&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;p&gt;Below are the terms and conditions that apply for your entry in the promotion on the www.oyw-thehague.com website.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;By submitting your entry, you become a Participant in this promotion and you agree to the following terms and conditions. Read them carefully so that you are fully aware of the general terms and conditions that apply to your participation in this promotion.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The following definitions are used in these terms and conditions:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Promoter: the Municipality of The Hague is carrying out and promoting the One Young World Summit Promotion.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Website www.oyw-thehague.com: the Municipality of The Hague is the owner of the website on which the One Young World Summit Promotion is offered, and is therefore responsible for the processing of the data provided by the Participants and the technical operation of the website.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Participant: the young professional who satisfies the following minimum requirements:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;is between 18 and 30 years old,&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;studies, lives or works within The Hague or feels a strong connection with the city,&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;is interested in the global issues we are facing today,&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;is passionate to contribute to change in his/her community, our country or the world,&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;is available to participate in the One Young World Summit 2017 in Bogota, Colombia (including traveling) from the 2nd till the 9th of October 2017 and the One Young World Summit 2018 in The Hague from the 17th till the 20th of October 2018,&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;has registered via the website to compete in the One Young World Summit Promotion before the 30th of May 2017.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;Candidates who do not meet these requirements will be excluded from participating.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Entries received after the&amp;nbsp;30th of May 2017 will not be considered by the Promoter. Only after you have received a confirmation of receipt from the Promoter you will be part of the competition in the One Young World Summit Promotion.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You are required to provide accurate, current and complete information about your participation in the One Young World Summit Promotion.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The opportunity for you as Selected Participant in the One Young World Summit Promotion is an unforgettable experience as a young professional to participate in the One Young World Summit 2017 and 2018. During these Summits, as well as during the period before and in between, the Selected Participant will actively promote The Hague and One Young World in his/her network. For the One Young World Summit 2017 the Promoter will provide return air tickets from the Netherlands to Colombia, free accommodation and meals in Bogota, and full access to the One Young World Summit.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In order to be eligible for selection, your entry must satisfy, next to the requirements mentioned above, the following minimum requirements:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;the entry must be filled in completely and truthfully;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;The entry must include your motivation that demonstrates why you are the right candidate. You are encouraged to provide your motivation in the form of a video message, blog post, vlog or via social media channels, Please do so by including the link.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;the entry and motivation must be in English.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;Participants who do not meet these requirements will be excluded from the selection process.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;A selection committee set up by the Promoter chooses the ten Selected Participants from among all of the Participants who satisfy the abovementioned promotion conditions.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Selected Participant will be personally informed in the first week of June 2017, via email or telephone using the email address or telephone number provided by the Participant.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Selected Participant will enter into a written agreement with the Promoter after which the prize will be awarded to the Selected Participant at a time agreed between the Promoter and him/her. Prior to the intake or as a result of it, the Promotor may request the Selected Participant to provide proof of identity and a valid registration at the residential or accommodation address provided by the Selected Participant.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Promoter may, at his/her discretion and without notice, change these terms and conditions during the promotional period or adapt or modify the promotion without giving any reason, or modify or discontinue the promotion entirely, without the Promoter being in any way obliged to pay damages to the Participant and/or Selected Participant as a result of their participation in the promotion. Any changes or modifications to the terms and conditions and/or the prize will be made public in an appropriate manner on the website www.oyw-thehague.com.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The prize is personal and in the name of the Selected Participant. The prize is not transferrable, exchangeable, or payable in cash or other goods or services. In the event of refusal or non-acceptance of the terms and conditions associated with this promotion, no agreement will be entered into with the Selected Participant which enables him/her to receive the unforgettable experience of the One Young World Summit Promotion. The Promoter is then entitled to select another Participant.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The personal data obtained in the course of this promotion will only be used by the Promoter for the promotion concerned. The personal data may be used to carry out the promotion, for the awarding of the prize and/or for sending emails as part of the One Young World Summit Promotion.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Municipality of The Hague treats the information provided by the Participant via the www.oyw-thehague.com website with confidentiality, and will not keep this information for any longer than necessary. At the end of the promotion, the Municipality will destroy all of the data provided, including – but not limited to – sent photos, vlogs, blogs, etc. that are provided in the context of the written motivation. In processing this data, the Municipality of The Hague will adhere to its privacy statement. The Municipality of The Hague is entitled to provide the Promoter with the personal data after receiving digital/written permission, for the sending of items including newsletters and/or emails as part of the One Young World Summit Promotion.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Promoter and the Municipality of The Hague are in no way liable for any problems or defects arising from the use of the website www.oyw-thehague.com and/or the downloading and/or uploading of any components associated with entering the One Young World Summit Promotion.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In situations not covered in these terms and conditions, the Promoter will decide.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;These terms and conditions are subject to Dutch law.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;For questions and/or complaints, please contact by email oneyoungworld@denhaag.nl.&lt;/p&gt;
